SEPLITE® LXA817
SEPLITE® LXA817 is a nonionic, hydrophobic, cross-linked polymeric adsorbent.
Its adsorptive properties derive from its macroreticular pore structure, high surface area, specially designed pore size distribution and aliphatic nature of its surface.
It could be used to adsorb non-polar compounds from water or waste water solutions, and could also adsorb polar compounds from non-polar solvents.
SEPLITE® LXA817 Adsorbing Resin Applications:
-
Removal of relatively polar compounds from non-aqueous solvents
-
Removal of non-aromatic compounds from polar solvents
-
Recovery of plant extracts
-
Recovery of antibiotics, enzymes and proteins
-
Recovery of organic pollutants from aqueous wastes, ground water etc
-
Enzyme immobilization
Sunresin adsorbents was produced fully in accordance with the FDA (US Food & Drug Administration), which stated adsorbent polymer can be used for being used in food contact applications.
The same resins were meeting the regulations prescribed under “Council of Europe resolution AP (97) 1 on ion exchange and adsorbent resins used in the processing of food stuffs”, which stated when well pre-treated, adsorbent resins was suitable for used in food applications.

SEPLITE® LXA817 Adsorbing Resin Precautions:
Resins should be stored in sealed containers or bags in cool areas where temperature was above 0℃. Risks of damage to eyes. Rinse immediately with plenty of water under condition of eyes contact, and consult a specialist. Material and samples must be disposed accordingly to local regulations.
Dry polymers expand when wetted and may cause an exothermic reaction. Spilled materials may be slippery.
